To begin setup:
- Remove the 3 mm Allen wrench from the back of the microscope
- Make sure the focus is raised all the way up, especially if the objectives are installed
- This prevents accidentally hitting the objectives while installing the stage
- Position the stage and secure it in place
- Tighten it down firmly
Objective Orientation
The objectives can be arranged in any orientation you prefer.
Common configurations include:
- Rotating from 2× → 4× → 10× → 20× → 40×
- Or arranging them in the reverse direction
